Get a new attractive rebrand for your successful company.
Rebranding is an important step to make for your company. It’s good to consider why you need to change your brand image, how to do it and when it’s better to take it slowly.
What is branding?
Before I give you the reasons to rebrand I want shortly describe, what I mean by writing branding and rebranding.
A brand is not a logo. A logo is a part of visual brand appearance. Branding is a tone of voice, the way how you communicate with your customer, how your business place looks, what kind of feel and impression you make on your clients. It’s everything connected with your company. Visual appearance: logo, print materials, packaging are an important part which plays the role to make your client interested in your business.
Main Reasons To Rebrand
You should think about your clients first when it comes to change the appearance. Many huge brands are constantly changing their appearance with time. It’s good to respond to current business and audience needs, however, they need to be careful. People are attached to famous brand images and a certain product looks. If you’re a small business or just started it’s easier to change your brand if you feel there is a reason for that.
Following The Trends And Your Business Competitors
While changing the brand visual look and the way of communication because of the trend is not the best idea, changing with time is a good thing to do. By that, I mean taking your audience for consideration and check how you can ‘refresh’ your look and communication. A language is a flexible tool, the visual identification can be updated. You don’t need to fully change everything, sometimes adding a new colour or rewriting your messages to the clients in a new manner could be enough. Replacing your packaging on biodegradable and recyclable materials has also an impact on your brand appearance! Check your competitors as well, you may find something that inspires you.
Visual Identification Is Old Or Not Representing The Brand In A Good Way
Sometimes when the company is 20 years on the market, it’s good to have a look at the logo design, stationery and general appearance. The old fashion look may be a good point for your brand, however, it’s good when it’s made on purpose. Visual identification in branding is an important step to make everything look consistent. From your logo design, through details, like a business card or letterhead.
There are also situations when somebody started your business and picked a logo which fits the idea, but it’s not really showing the personality of you and your business. An example of incorporating the vintage personal look is a label which I’ve done for ‘Good Karma. Home Apothecary’ (See examples below). Before it was a minimal label with a scent name. Now the logo has a lotus flower in emblem (It’s connected with Asian philosophy) and hand-drawn Lilly flower elements in the label (the owner’s favourite flowers). It is also representing a romantic, calm and elegant vibe, which was the goal for the design.
Changing The Brand Strategy And Other Reasons
Changing the target audience, or the strategy for your brand could be the reason for the whole rebrand. Maybe there is a need for a different type of communication or your visual look should attract a younger audience? There is a lot of factors and reasons for a rebrand.
