Where art, strategy and thoughtful design meet.
art and design.
The name Artphysis brings together art and physis: the Greek idea of nature, or the nature of things. It reflects the foundation of my approach: combining artistic expression with thoughtful, purposeful design. Art for the feeling. Design for the purpose. Strategy for the direction.
A collaborative process, without the overwhelm.
Branding can feel like a lot. My role is to make the process feel clear, manageable and enjoyable.
I lead the process from start to finish, while making sure your ideas, knowledge and perspective are always part of it.
01 — Discover
Start with clarity.
Tell me about your business, where you are now and what you want your brand to achieve. We’ll have a relaxed conversation to understand your goals, challenges and whether we’re a good fit.
02 — Create
Turn ideas into identity.
We’ll establish the creative direction through research, references and moodboards, before developing your identity. I’ll guide you through the design, explain the thinking behind it and refine everything together until it feels right.
03 — Launch
Bring your new brand to life.
Once everything is approved, I’ll prepare and organise your final files so you can use your new identity confidently. We’ll have a final check-in to make sure you’re ready for the next step.
Who I work with
Businesses that have grown, and are ready for their brand to catch up.
Perhaps your business has evolved. Your services have expanded. Your audience has changed. Or your visual identity simply no longer feels like you. You don’t necessarily need to start again. You need thoughtful design that helps your brand evolve with you.
The person behind Artphysis
I’m Joanna, a brand designer and illustrator with a background in fine art and over 10 years of experience in design.
I’m a collaborative leader rather than someone who simply takes a brief and disappears into the studio.
I’ll guide you through the decisions, bring my expertise where you need it and keep the process moving without making it feel overwhelming.
There’s structure, but there’s also room for curiosity, creativity and a little joy along the way.
Because I believe the branding process should feel like something you’re excited to be part of.
